Robert is one of Alberta's leading tenor voices and has sung as soloist with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, Calgary Philharmonic, Alberta Baroque Ensemble,
Richard Eaton Singers (Edmonton), Spiritus Chamber Choir (Calgary), Pro Coro Canada and all major music organizations in the province of Alberta.
Canada's national broadcaster, CBC Radio 2 asked Robert to record a live recital concert at the Edmonton Winspear Centre for
Music which was attended by over 1,000 people. The recital was first broadcast May 09, 2004 and has been repeated several times since.
Robert received his training in voice at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto under the direction of the late John McKnight.
He continued his musical training at Asbury University College in the state of Kentucky in the United States.
Whether it is English, German, Italian, French or Latin, Robert has sung in several different languages.
During his long career, Robert spent 12 seasons as a tenor with one of Canada's leading
professional choral ensembles, Pro Coro Canada, often performing as soloist. He has sung the part of the dying swan in Carmina Burana and tenor soloist in Mozart's
Requiem.
He has performed every style of music from early music (Monteverdi & Bach) to Modern (Bernstein).
A seasoned performer who has performed with every major music organization in the Canadian province of Alberta and some in British Columbia as well as appearing in major Canadian cities like Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver.
